I have an excel report that opens up a dialog box for e.lotus.Notes.Data, everytime it is opened, yet this report is not opened through lotus notes.

To move through the dialog box a user has to click cancel twice. I send this report to others via lotus notes. So I'm basically stumped.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).

Welcome to the Board!

Have you looked in the "ThisWorkbook" module? You likely have the Notes code in a Workbook_Open event. Move it into a General Module and then call it from a Button that gets deleted when the workbook is sent. Tehn onlyyou trigger the code and your users don't have to fuss with the dialogue box.

Hope that helps,

Smitty
