differences between the two columns

Please help,

Can somebody tell me how to make a differences between the two columns if they are in text format.

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Sort by date Sort by votes
Try in a 3rd column:
Code: 
=EXACT(A1,B1)
And then copy down for the length of your two columns
