I am looking for a macro that would set all cells containing a formula in one given color and all cells containing a value in another color.

Thanks

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
Welcome to the board.

You can do this (one time) easily enough without a macro...

Press F5, click "special", choose "formulas", and apply the desired background color.

Then, press F5 again, click "special", choose "constants", and apply the desired background color.

If you still need a macro, try using the macro recorder to record those steps.
