Hi community,

for my project I would like to combine a userform with combobox which list possibile values based on the selection made via data validation. That means, one column contains the team name which is selected by data validation. Based on the team name a userform pops up and allows the user to select a team member from a combobox (drop-down list with members of the selected team).
If the member is selected, the name is populated to a different column as value for the active row.

The code works fine if I type in the team name, the correct members are listed and the member name is populated to the correct row. However, if I select the team from the data validation drop-down, the name is populated to the row above (-1). If I type in a wrong team name, press RETRY and correct the entry, the userform pops up three times, but populates the selected member name in the correct row.

Any idea why this is happening? And is there a way to "force" the data validation to "stay in the active row"?

Many thanks for your feedback!
Nika
