Different Size Columns? (need help)

Is there a way in excel to make the cell in a column a different height then another? For example the cells A1-A10 be column width 40 and then have cells A11-A20 be column width 20. Thank you
 

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
You could get this appearance by merging columns A and B from row 11 down. I wouldn't recommend this if you plan to work on the sheet with VBA.

Edit: actually the other way round - merge in rows 1 to 10.

What u could do is just adjust the size of the Font or Value within the cell to you desired likings...that's about it!
