Hello all
I am scratching my head with this one.

I have 4 worksheets with similar data in them. I protect the worksheets except for 2 input columns right next to each other. In options I set the direction of the select box to right. What happens is after my input I press enter and the box moves to the right and then when I press enter again it moves down 1 and to the left etc etc, but on this one worksheet it only goes to the right then stays there. Has anyone any idea why this is happening and give me some advice please.
Many Thanks

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Nika,
Do you mean that the active cell stays unchanged when you press enter?

regards,
Erik

PS: is the sheet protected? (yes I presume)
which cells are unlocked?

Sorry, yes I mean the active cell. The sheet is protected except for 2 columns (my input Columns)

That's "impossible"! But we all know that Excel has hidden secrets

TO BE SURE that we are talking about the same problem:
Let's say your unlocked columns are A and B.
the sheet is protected
the MoveAfterReturnDirection is set to right
Hitting ENTER you expect the activecell to be
A1 - B1 - A2 - B2 - A3
but in your case it stays
at B2 even when you press ENTER or CARRIAGE RETURN

If that's correct, I propose you sent me (a part of) that workbook if you want, since I don't see what could be wrong else. I'll take a look then.

regards,
Erik
