Disable copy/paste of protected hidden cells?

Hi,

I have a similar problem to one mentioned here:
http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/showthread.php?t=245549

I've drawled through the forum and haven't found an answer and wonder if there have been any developments.

I'm using Excel 2003.

I have a sheet with a range of rows hidden and then locked. The idea is to stop the user seeing inside the hidden cells. This works great within the original WB. However, if you copy the entire sheet and paste into a blank sheet the protection is removed and the hidden cells can be unhidden.

Is there a way round this? Either by menu or VBA?

Thanks in advance

Martin

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
