Disable macro icon

i have 2 macro icons.
i want to disable the icons after its clicked once.

any idea on how to do this???

well - once the user clicks the control, run the code, and at the end of the code do something like

me.commandbutton1.enabled  = false

or


me.commandbutton.visible = false

is the icon a commandbutton?
im asking abt the macro icon place in the menu bar
