Hi all,

I tried posting the text below on another forum but no one seemed to be able to help, Hope someone here can steer me in the right direction!

Have what probably a fairly simple question but I'm pretty much a beginner at excel so the answer is eluding me, hope someone can help ...

Here's what I want to do:

if cell B18 contains any data then cell F18 must be filled in else don't allow sheet to be saved AND/OR don't allow user to move to next row

Couple of things that may or not make a difference:

1. The selection in B18 is from a named range (part) without a drop down list.
2. The selection in F18 is from a named range (REASONCODE) with a drop down list.

So, to make it a little clearer.

The sheet is used to return obsolete stock back to our warehouse. B18 contains the part number and F18 contains a reason code. We don't want to allow stock to be sent back without a valid reason code....

Thanks for taking the time to read through my query and hope you can help!
