Hi all,

Is it possible to disable the saving button.
The reason is, I don't want people without the authorization to overwrite the file.

If you need more information just ask :)

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
I believe you can password protect for anyone who wishes to modify:

If memory serves me correct it is in the Save as dialog box:

File>SaveAs>Tools>General Options

NB: Tools is a button in the bottom right of the dialog box, next to the Save button
