I have a workbook that has links to other workbooks. So everytime I open up the workbook it get the excel messagebox that asks me if I want to update my links. (and of course i press "no") Is there anyway to make this message box go away?

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.

Try this:

Private Sub Workbook_Open()
UpdateRemoteReferences = False
End Sub
