Disappearing Option Box

I have two option boxes in a spreadsheet that control the output of other cells. One option box is called "1300" and the other option box is called "1400". For some reason when I select the "1400" box and then save my excel file, after re-opening the same file neither the "1300" box nor the "1400" box is selected, which gives some of the values a false reading. I am not really sure how to solve this problem. This problem doesn't occur when I select the "1300" box.

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
Not sure what you have there. It could be an "Option Button", "Check Box", "Combo Box", or a "List Box". Code is different if it is from the Forms or Controls toolbars. At any rate, you could record a macro selecting the "1300" box, then incorporate that into a "On open" event macro.
To make an "On Open" event macro:
Right Click the Excel Icon in the upper left of your worksheet, (left of the File drop-down menu).
Click "View Code"
Paste your code into the panel that opens. ("ThisWorkBook" Module)
Be sure the macro starts with, "Private Sub Workbook_Open()"
Alt-Q to quit the VBA Editor.

I got it figured out, thanks all.
then please share what the problem was and how you solved it

some guys and gals might have spent some time to look at your problem
perhaps they did not post because after 10 minutes of tryouts they couldn't reproduce the problem, but they worked at it ...
(I was one of them)
