Display Alert

Application.DisplayAlerts = False
ActiveWorkbook.FollowHyperlink Address:=strDestFolder & Trim(ActiveCell.Value) & ".pdf"
Application.DisplayAlerts = True

I have the code as seen above but when the code gets to the hyperlink address part a box appears asking if you want to follow the hyperlink but with the application.displayalerts=false the box should not appear. Does anyone have any idea why it may still appear?

The box you get when following a hyperlink is a security alert rather than a "are you sure you want to do that?" alert - so display alerts doesn't affect it. You have to edit the registry to disable these alerts:
