Hello everyone,
I have a formula that uses 3 cells to calculate average for each machine, I have 3 machines and not all machines run each day and 1 of cells for each machine has the same number whether it runs or not. Is there a way to show the cell blank if 2 out of 3 cells its looking at are blank? If one of the machines doesn't run it shows a #value! in the cell.
Thanks in advance
Kevin

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Which is the formula? Or simply use IFERROR:
Excel Formula:
=IFERROR(YourFormula,"")

Bye

Without knowing your particular circumstances, it is possible that using IFERROR may hide other errors that you would want to know about. You could use something like this to directly check that at least 2 of the 3 cells contain numbers.

22 01 30.xlsm
ABCD
1
26
3
Check Cells
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
D3D3=IF(COUNT(A1,B3,C2)<2,"",A1+B3+C2)
