Hi all,
I would like to display the contents of my active cell in another cell, without VBA. For example, let's say my "display cell" is A1. My active cell is at A2, and it contains "fish", so A1 displays "fish". If I move my active cell one space to the right to A3, and A3 contains "=5+1" (without quotes), then A1 displays the number 6.
The following VBA accomplishes this:
The problem is, this code completely negates the Undo function. I looked up VBA-Undo functions, and the best one I found only can undo 1 step, and is fairly complex to implement.
So can the above functionality be replicated without using VBA?

Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
Range("A1").Value = Cells(Target.Row, Target.Column).Value
End Sub
