How would I get Excel to show a date that is either the Friday before if a weekend or the Friday after if not?

For example.

If I enter 26/08/14 the formulated cell would see this is not a weekend so choose the next Friday which is the 29th August. If however I entered 26/09/14 it would see this is a Friday so would just show the same date. If I entered 26/10/14 it would see this is a Sunday so choose the Friday before which is the 24/10/14.

Thanks.

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.

What do you want to get if the given date is a Friday?
