Display last row entered

Hey all,

I need help with Excel. I need to put together an Excel workbook to keep track of our interactions with clients. Each client would have a log on a separate sheet in the workbook, and people would fill in the last point of contact/action done for that client.

So the question is, is there a formula that I can use on worksheet A to automatically find/display only the last row entered for worksheet B?

If they're entering text, try =MATCH(REPT("Z",255),'Sheet 2 name'!B:B)
If they're entering numbers, try =MATCH(9.99999999999999E307,'Sheet 2 name'!B:B)

I fiddled with the formula until I thought I understood it, but it only returned the row number for the last row in the spreadsheet, but not the contents of an actual cell. Is there a sister cell this should be paired with?

Spero, try this macro. be sure to replace the names of the worksheets into the macro.

Sub LastRowCopy()
Dim LR as Integer
 
Sheets("*name of worksheet B*").Select
LR = Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row
Rows(LR).Copy
Sheets("*name of worksheet A*").Select
Rows(2).PasteSpecial

Try INDEX, as in:

=INDEX('Sheet 2 name'!B:B,MATCH(REPT("Z",255),'Sheet 2 name'!$B:$B)) or similar copied right.
