when doubleclick the record in the listbox the date displayed is in numeric like in the picture below anyone knows why? sorry for a newbie question. Thanks

Solution
YEP.
Have you thought of using "ShortDate" instead of dd-mmm-yy? That means it would format to whatever date-format the user is used to.

And as a learning exercise... Try coding:
VBA Code: 
With Me.ListBox1
    Me.TextBox.Value = .List(.ListIndex, n)
End With

It's easier reading, and has a silly advantage of having the screen update only once (at the End With). Not greatly important, but someday you will achieve a huge speed-improvement from using the WITH construct
