Displaying Modified Date

Sorry, I've seen this thread in the archives but cannot get to the text.

Can someone please tell me how to insert the File's modified date in a cell.
 

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
