How can I get the cell to be blank rather than show this error? My formula in the cell is: =AVERAGE(D6:D18)

This is used in a calendar type application and obviously, for the months that haven't occured yet there will be "errors". I'd rather not have this error all over my sheet. Thanks!!!

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Jon, no average is needed if the months are incomplete. I just was hoping to clean up the "results" for months that haven't happened yet. What this is used for is there is a feed from a database which pulls in stats for employees (D6:D18). I then average the stats to get an average for each unit. Like I said, the error occurs for each month that has yet to occur.

=if(iserror(AVERAGE(D6:D18)),"",AVERAGE(D6:D18))

I had an extra = sign in the equation.
