I have a basic formula that divides two cells and multiplies them by 100 to give me a percentage, but when the cells are blank or "0" the formula returns #Div/0!. How can i avoid this populating the cell?
The simplest way is to test for the existence of the denominator:
=IF(B1,A1/B1,0)
HTH,
EDIT: =if(iserror(#your_formula#),"",#your_formula#) - ISERROR is fine, but it has performance implications that can add up if you have a lot of formulas. Namely that it forces 2x calculation.
