Morning ,

Would someone kindly put me out of my misery and point me in the right direction
to have the formula below NOT report any DIV ERRORS .

=1-(E2/C2)

Thanks ,

Russ.

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
How about
Excel Formula:
=IF(OR(C2=0,C2=""),"",1-(E2/C2))

Alternatively you could use:
Excel Formula:
=IFERROR(1-(E2/C2),"Alternate_Value_Or_Calculation")

Hi Fluff , Alex ...
Sorry to reignite the thread , but i have another DIV issued i hope you can assist with .
=(MAX(D5*AW5*(AG5/100)*(MIN(1,AW5/AV5)),N5))/(D5*AW5)
The cells all refer to numbers.
Returns DIV error , but what i would really like is " - " .
Driving me mad this one !!!

Thanks Guys ,

Russ.

Fluff's solution was addressing the root cause of the issue. Using IFError effectively ignores the root cause and just replaces the error with an alternate return value.
So if you are ok with that then this should do what you want.
Excel Formula:
=Iferror((MAX(D5*AW5*(AG5/100)*(MIN(1,AW5/AV5)),N5))/(D5*AW5)," - ")

If not you need to address handling AV5, D5, AW5 being blank or 0.
