Hi.
I am new to the forum.

I have a spreadheet that is used to calculate times to pick/pack line items in a warehouse situation. I have a cell (F142) (0:02:00) that calculates "minutes to pick per line item" (currently hh:mm:ss format).
I need a formula to calculate the projected "line items per hour" in F147 (currently Number format) I am using =60/F142 but gives me 42624.0 instead of 29.70.
Thanks hope someone can help
Stephen

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Hello Stephen - if one item takes 2 minutes isn't that 30 per hour?

Try an extra division by 1440 (number of minutes in a day), i.e.

=60/F142/1440

format as number
