This is driving me crazy...here is my criteria:

I have two tables:

tblDefinitions_CCNumbers
*and*
tblMatrix_EmployeeNumbers

Basically, for every record in tblDefinitions_CCNumbers I want to write a Dlookup that will return "ENMatrix_Surname" from tblMatrix_EmployeeNumbers where "ENMatrix_EmployeeNumber" on
tblMatrix_EmployeeNumbers matches "CCData_PM" on
tblDefinitions_CCNumbers.

Does this make sense?

Andy

Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
You could make a query with tblDefinitions_CCNumbers as your record source and put CCData_PM as the first field. The second field would be....

Code:
ValueName: Dlookup("[ENMatrix_Surname]","[tblMatrix_EmployeeNumbers]","[tblMatrix_EmployeeNumbers]![ENMatrix_EmployeeNumber]=" & [CCData_PM])
or you could set up a relationship between the two tables and make things much easier on yourself.
