I would like to place multiple filters in the same cell by using a semicolon for example. Is there a way that I can filter each tag/ label/ filter individually? I know that excel only allows a maximum of two searchable filters at the same time, but can I filter more than two.

Here is an example of what I am trying to do, I would like for instance to search all items that are found in location 2 (meaning items 1-3)

.. or a shortcut is to use asterisk wildcards and enter it in the initial drop-down like this

What if I have many (more than a couple) of these tags hypothetically speaking (e.g. location 1, location 2, location 3,...etc)?
Also, if I have a "location 22", will *location 2* return such a filter, because ideally, I would like it such that it does not?

Thanks a lot for your help... :)

In that case, if you wanted to use the built-in filtering options you would need to enter your locations something like this

21 12 01.xlsm
AB
1ItemLocation
2Item 1;location 1;;location 2;
3Item 2;location 2;
4Item 3;location 2;;location 3;
5Item 4;location 3;;location 4;
Filter

And then filter like below, but with a maximum of two locations only.

If you did not want to enter the locations like that or you wanted to filter for more than 2 locations at a time, you would have to move to a vba or Power Query option
