Hi guys, as above is my progression table for roulette, the table is what I want to achieve. Lets say we are betting 5 numbers so we start we 1 unit on each number. On the 8 step of the progression we cannot do 1 1 1 1 1 anymore as it will result in a negative. What I want is for the excel to show how much I have to bet on each number in order to profit in the next step. I was thinking of using the formula if =if(J3<1,A2+1,A2) but I get the Circular Ref Warning as the cells are linked. Is there anyway for this to work guys?

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Hope someone can help me out here a I don't mind sending you a small fee thanks!

Please note that offering payment is against the spirit of the forum.

Have you tried going to Tools > Options > Calculation tab and setting Iterations to 1. That should circumvent the circular reference warning.
