Column D has dates for one month in the format "mmm dd, yyyy - ddd" in cells D1, D2 ... D30:
Sept 01, 2007 - Sat
Sept 02, 2007 - Sun
.....
Sept 30, 2007 - Sun
Column E can have the values 0.25 or 0.5 or 0.75 or 1 for each day.
So cell E31 contains the total because it has SUM(E1:E30)
Simple and it works.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now *UNDER* E31, I would like to have totals for each day of the week.
So Column D would then contain just the text:
Mon (in D32)
Tue (in D33)
Wed (in D34)
Thu (in D35)
Fri (in D36)
Sat (in D37)
Sun (in D38)
And the corresponding value under Column E would be:
the total for just the Mondays in cell E32
the total for just the Tuesdays in cell E33
....
So the question - can you help me create the formula for E32?
It should sum E1:E30 but ONLY if date in the corresponding D cell is a Monday.
Thanks.
