Help! I am getting an error message here trying to calculate R. What is wrong with my function? I have never used the Data! thing before. I copied it from a book. What does Data! do?

I typed =MAX(Data!B2:D2)-MIN(Data!B2:D2)

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
It's the name of the worksheet that B2:D2 are on. If you don't have a sheet named Data, it shouldn't be there.
