Hi ALL,

I have Excel 2016 and am wondering why I have a dotted line around cell after copy, paste and save. It is annoying. Is there a setting?

Thanks for any help!

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
tobyz95,

The "marching ants" indicate the copied contents are still in memory and available to be pasted. You can cancel them by using the Enter or Return key to paste rather than the Paste command or Ctrl+V. You can also use the Esc key, double click a cell, or start typing in a cell to cancel them.

Cheers,

Hey Tonyyy and thanks for responding..not what I wanted to hear, but it is what it is. I just came off using 2013, and it did not do that.:(

Thanks again!
