Excel 2003 - is there a mouse double click function or event in the cell range (for example a1...a7)?
The purpose is to trigger a macro which opens a table named (list1) for activating a cell in table and after confirmation (perhaps with enter key) copies the cell content from table to initial double clicked cell.

I assume that you have already written the macro (MyMacro). In which case right click the sheet tab, select View Code and paste in

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_BeforeDoubleClick(ByVal Target As Range, Cancel As Boolean)
If Not Intersect(Target, Range("A1:A7")) Is Nothing Then
    Cancel = True
    Call MyMacro
End If
End Sub
