Hi all, how do i code the down arrow? I want to move one cell down from the active cell to find the empty row after the last row of data, but in some cases i have filtered cells. So i'm unable to use offset or end(xlup) because both will give me wrong references. i'm using excel 2003.

Thanks.

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
You could use something like:
Code:
Function NextBlankVisCell(lngColumn As Long) As Range
   Set NextBlankVisCell = Columns(lngColumn).Find(what:="", After:=Cells(Rows.Count, lngColumn).End(xlUp), LookIn:=xlFormulas, lookat:=xlWhole, searchorder:=xlByRows, SearchDirection:=xlNext)
End Function
