Hi All,

is there a way to downgrade a pivot table from version 12 (Excel 2007) to version 10?

I have a large number of pivot tables in my rpeort and don't relish the prospect of having to rebuild each of them in compatability mode in order to get them to work correctly on a machine that doesn't have 2007.

Thanks

Nick

Is the desired file version available in the pulldown in File/SaveAs/Save As Type? (We use this method to "save down" AutoCad files.
Hope this helps!

Hi,

thanks for the response.

I can downgrade the workbook to a previous version but this doesn't downgrade the version of the pivot tables inside it unfortunately.

The only way I've found of doing this is to remove the pivot table and rebuild it when the workbook is open in compatability mode. Fine if there's only one or two but we have many more in this workbook unfortunately.

Regards

Nick

To the best of my knowledge there is no other way to do it, unfortunately.
