in A1, i have a formula saying =C5
is there anyway for me to drag this down and instead of getting C6, C7, C8, etc. , instead get D5, E5, F5, G5, etc.
Whoops sorry.. I didn't read well enough. I don't know about that. I am sure you could write a macro to do it, but I don't know about that in excel.
You might also be able to use paste special with the transpose check box checked and get it to work that way, although i don't know if it will automatically update if you do that.
