Dragging a formula down a column

I have entered a formula in a certain cell, U10, where it has produced its value as required. The calculation is very simple (K10-L10), but I have added an IFERROR formula so that it makes =IFERROR((K10-E10),"03:00"). In the case of cell U10 there was an error so the value 03.00 has been entered.

That is all fine, however I then wish to drag the cell down the length of part of the column to calculate for K11-L11 etc etc... and when I do this the formula copies in fine, but the calculation is not performed. The cells return the value 03:00 for every cell in the column.

Furthermore, the cells across the document, which depend upon the result in the U column to do their calculations, are not updating automatically when I put a value in the U column.

AM I doing something wrong?

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Check in Excel Options that Calculation is set to Automatic. Exactly where you find this depends on whether you are using Excel 2007 or 2010.
