I have a spread sheet that if you click into a cell an arrow pops out to the right of the cell allowing you to click on it and a list pops up for you to select an number from. The list that pops up is on another spread sheet. The problem is I can't remenber how I did and now I'm trying to do the same thing on another spread sheet. Could someone please refresh my memory.

Thanks

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
You create the list on a seperate spreadsheet and name the range containing the list. Once you have the named range go to Data --> Validation and select List. In the Source box type =NamedRange (i.e. =Month).
