Can any one tell me how to open a second drop down list box from a selection made in the first drop down list box. The selection in the second drop down list box should be place in the cell and I then want an associated number placed in another cell.

So the first list box shows a several descriptions selecting one opens a second list box showing options for than description and when selecting the option in the second list box is placed in the cell. The associated number for that option is the placed in another cell.

I hope this is understandable and makes sence.

I thnak you very much for any help.

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
...The associated number for that option is the placed in another cell...

Hi there,

Excepting that last bit. Where does the associated number come from?

Also, where do we want the lists and sub-lists to come from? Can we hard code these, or do we need to be grabbing them from a sheet somewheres...
