Drop Down List Query

Hello,

I am wondering if the following can be done, I have tried looking online, but it is hard as it's not easy to word!! I need to know if the following can be done in Excel -

A department is selected from the first drop down, I want this to then determine what staff are available in the second drop down.

I can do it where by the rows are hidden depending on what is selected, but I am quite sure Excel would have an easier way to do this.

Any ideas? Thanks
