I've created a drop down list. The list data is in a second worksheet.

However, when I invoke it, the text in the list items are so small I can only read them after they're selected.

Is there a way to increase the font size of the items as they appear in the list?

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
I assume you created your drop down box from the "Forms" toolbar.

Try a drop dowm box from the Active x "Controls" toolbar. You can then right click on it to and choose properties to set font and Rowsource (your drop down data).

I created it from Data/Validation menu.

Does that change the answer?

Thanks for the response BTW.

If you created it with Validation I'm afraid you can't change the size unless you changed the Windows settings.

Perhaps if you explain exactly what you are trying to do and an alternative solution can be found.

Thanks again and be patient. I have only the most rudimentary knowledge of Excel. I got the Data/Validation thing from the help menu.

I simply want to create a series of cells with drop-down lists. Each list will have 3-10 selections to choose from and those available selections will change periodically, so the drop-down list should be easy to edit.

The way I have it set up now is with the lists on a separate worksheet. It works just fine except that the list contents are so tiny I can't read them.

I can use it as is but I have to guess at what I'm choosing from the drop-downs and it's a hit and miss affair to make a selection.

BTW, worksheet won't be distributed. It's a tool for me only.
