Hello,

I am trying to create a dynamic dropdown list that changes once a user selects an available option. The idea is that once an item is selected, the next user does not see that option being available. A perfect example would be hoteling workstations where a particular workstation is taken off the dropdown once a user has already chosen it. Can anyone please help me?

Thanks,
SK

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Hi,

there are several options to create dynamic or dependent dropdowns however you gave us very little to go on. Can you provide a sample of what you're looking for combined with the desired result using XL2BB

Unfortunately, our organization's security policy restricts me from running any add in. Hence I have included an image. As you can see, there is a drop down for floor to be chosen by a user, and then there is a dependant drop down for desks, based on floor chosen, which shows only the desks available on that floor.

What I am looking to do is that now when user 5 chooses a floor, say, Floor 1, he should only see desks 1, 2, 4 and 5, since desk 3 has already been taken by User 1. Does that clarify?

Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
