My drop down menus in excel are not working at all. A pale blue outline appears instead of the menu. They were working fine yesterday... any ideas??

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
You stand a better chance at getting a useful response if you explain what "drop down menus" means to you...

- Data Validation?
- ComboBox activex?
- ComboBox Forms?
- AutoFilter custom?
- Pivot Table field filter?
- Custom command bar menu?
- UserForm?
- Something else?

Also, what did you do reasonably immediately before noticing this "pale blue outline", did you run a macro, filter a range, chant an evil incantation, or something else.

Finally, it is always useful to include the version of Excel you are using and the operating system version.
