Ok, here is what i want to do. I've got a list of auto makers on the top Row and attributes of the cars in the first column.

Chevy Pontiac Ford others...
Price 15000 16000 17000
MPG 18 15 14
Color Blue Black Red
ETC
.
.
.

Where and how do I put the source data (below) so I can select Chevy, Ford, etc from a drop down menu and have all the attribute data appear below? I have tried pivot tables, but haven't had any luck so far. Thanks for the help.

Chevy Pontiac Ford Mistubishi Nissan Cadillac
Price 15000 16000 17000 22000 21000 29000
MPG 18 15 14 22 19 12
Color Blue Black Red Orange Black Green

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
I'm not exactly sure if this is what you are asking for, but if you put the car names in a column like this:

Chevy
Pontiac
Ford
etc

and put the attributes in columns across the page like this:
Price MPG etc.

then you could use the autofilter function under data, filter, and you could choose the car from the filter box and the attribute data for that car would appear in the row.
Hope that helps

I'm not sure what you are asking but I think you should rearrange the data.

Something like this might be better:
Car Price MPG Color
Chevy 15000 18 Blue
Pontiac 16000 15 Black
Ford 17000 14 Red
Mistubishi 22000 22 Orange
Nissan 21000 19 Black
Cadillac 29000 12 Green

Right, what I want to be able to do though is select any of the cars. For example, one day I might want to compare a chevy and a pontiac when the next I want to compare cadillac and nissan. How can I get every model in a dropdown box in each cell like that? Thanks for the help so far, I think I am getting closer.
