Hi all I have a worksheet "ingredients" which has the cost of items from various suppliers some of the items are the same etc, so I have had to add supplier details to it as well. So for example it would have "cheese - supplier a" in column A and in the following columns price per weight/bag etc. On other worksheets I have used a drop down list to lookup this data (using vlookup) and tell me how much a certain item is to make, depending on how much I use for that recipe. The problem arises when I change the name of ingredient in “ingredients” it “n/a’s” out all the other worksheets with that ingredient in. 1) Is there a way of changing the ingredient name, which will then change it in all the recipe worksheets? 2) Can this also be applied across workbooks? – as in the future I don’t want so many worksheets in one book! Or should I use a different method of looking up / entering the data? Many Thanks A small business owner with big needs!
