dumbass nested if question

ok forgive my stupidity here

i wish to get a result of "true" to show if sometihng is between two limits 151 and 300, i believe i need a nested if but can get it to work.

I've had days like that where my brain can't even do simple stuff and I'm knocking my head against a wall. It is so embarrassing.

Scenario:
A1 has value of 10 and you want, in cell B1 to find if the value is between 5 and 15:

In B1:
=and(A1>4,A1<16)

Just noticed Chris got to you before I finished typing. Both of our formulas will work. the "IF" is not really needed for such a simple compare.

If you want, you can do that within the same cell the number is being entered into by using custom formatting instead of using a formula in a different cell.

Format the cell as Custom and use:

[<151]General;[>300]General;"True"
