Hi,

I have a very simple spreadsheet, with just two columns.

When I use the 'Remove Duplicates' function it removes 237 records. But I want to see what these records are that it has removed.

Is there somehow I can see what these duplicates are and then I can use the 'Remove Duplicates' command after?

Thanks
Shai

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Hi, You could arrange the data in ascending or descending order which should place the duplicates directly above and below the each other and then use conditional formatting to highlight those cells (change cell colour or make bold etc) that are duplicate of the one above. Then once you have reviewed you can run the 'Remove Duplicates' function.
