I am working in excel 365 abd I am looking for either a formula or VBA code (if simple).

I have a sheet let's call it "merged data" where I want to gather information from "List 1" and "List 2".

In "List 2" I have duplicates, and I want to have the value of the most current data returned in "Merged data".

I do not want to alter "List 2" to remove duplicates because that sheet is the one i will keep dropping the information (copy/paste), so trying to do less manual steps each time i have new information.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Can you share a sample data that we can see where are your values located and which duplicates you want to check?

For your sample data (& expected results), MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.
