I have around 85K worth of Rows and around 10 Columns. i am filtering the data into subgroups to look at same data sets.

For Example -

i have a row and in one of the cells its has Heat and Sounder. i need to duplicate the row completely and drop it below its respective row. Making two duplicated rows.

i can then change the top two rows and copy and paste so each of the duplicate sets has one being heat and one sounder.

i can carry out a copy and insert paste row which is fine for the odd duplicate required. But when i have 100 odd it can be time consuming.

Anyone have any ideas how to make this easier?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
You need to give some details like which columns "Heat" and "Sounder" appear in and if they are in separate cells or the same cell. Remember, we cannot see your worksheet unless you post an image of it or a link to it. You can use the xl2BB button in the tool bar of the reply window to capture a portion of your worksheet, or attach a screen shot with the paper clip at lower left of the reply box. If you use the sl2BB button, you can select a portion of your worksheet, click he 'Capture Range' button, then click the 'Select All' option. You will get a message telling you the selection is ready to paste. When you paste it into the reply pane, it will look like garbage, so don't panic. Just click the 'Post Reply' button and the image will show in the posted pane.
