This is not a question but a thank-you note.

Having just watched Bill Jelen's excellent 'Learn Excel - Dynamic Chart Date: Podcast #1398' I tried to apply it using Microsoft Excel for Mac 2011. It worked a treat and teaches me something I have been trying all sorts of things to achieve.

Found the video and now this forum starting with a Google search.

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
