Hello,

I made a dynamic chart and at the Series Values I have "=Name of the file.xlsx!Name of the defined formula". It works just fine, the problem is that when I am opening'it from an e-mail for example the file name become Name of the file[1] and the formula is no longer recognised and the chart is not working (at the series values appears [0] instead of file name.

Thanks!

Lucian

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
I am sending it to a list of people which are not working in my organisation. I can't ask them to save the file daily and we don't have a common folder

The file name is Report.xlsx and the formula name is Formula1, so at the Series Values it will be =Report.xlsx!Formula1

When I am opening the file from an e-mail, it will be Report[1] and at the Series Values I have =[0]!Formula1 and nothing works :(

There are several people, with Excel 2007 that are facing this issue. Some of them said there is no problem. It might be something else, like a setting, but I don't know which one :(

I have Excel 2007

Excel 2007 pre-service-pack had this problem, and many others. Make sure everyone has installed SP2.
