Dynamic Chart Range using OFFSET

Hi all,

I don't tend to use a lot of charts but have been tasked with the job of making our chart ranges on an accounting spreadsheet update automatically. I have searched all over and thought I had it figured out but for some reason it's not working for me. I would be most grateful of any assistance please.

For the first chart I have set up two named ranges using OFFSET as follows:
Months_13
Code: 
=OFFSET('Input Screen With Targets'!$B$1,0,COUNTA('Input Screen With Targets'!$1:$1)-1,1,-13)
Rate
Code: 
=OFFSET('Input Screen With Targets'!$B$5,0,COUNTA('Input Screen With Targets'!$5:$5)-1,1,-13)

So months are in the first row, starting at B1 and I want to show a rolling 13 months.
For this graph I am showing some rates achieved and these are contained in row 5.

When I try to apply either of these ranges to my chart I get the following error:

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().

Thank you. I spotted that as I posted it. Odd how you can look at a spreadsheet for ages and then the minute you post it somewhere you can see it.

I don't suppose you know how I get it to ignore blanks do you? Some of the ranges we have been recording information for less time and so early input cells are blank. 'Rate' range actually starts from cell BD5 for example.

EDIT: Nevermind....I have it. Instead of trying to define the range with blanks, I can OFFSET from the Months_13 range.
=OFFSET(Months_13,4,0)
