Hi All,

Excel 2007

I'm preparing quite a complex weekly report and so I'm making use of dynamic charts based on a number of named ranges. Is there anyway to avoid having to create a named range for each and every series? This is proving somewhat tedious with certain types of chart, such as scatters, bubbles etc.

Is there not a way to 'name' the entire source data, and then reference ranges within it for each series?

Syntax aside, something like:

=MyNamedRange.Column(1).Row(1) - for series name
=MyNamedRange.Column(1).Row(2 to end) - for series data

Thanks in advance
